Pronghorn on the Plains/ Illustration Friday

Pronghorn are one of the animals that live on the vast prarie in Canada, our plains. Unfortunatly I didn't use a good quality paper and it caused ripples in the sky.

Michelle!I LOVE this one.Pronghorn are so neat. There are supposed to be some south of us here down near Waterton Park.
don't worry about the sky-it's just a CHINOOK rolling in-haha!

The texture from the less expensive paper gives it a nice, pre-storm feel! Serendipity :)

I thought the ripples in the paper were intentional, a sort of embossing technique that I thought was very creative. Another case of "happy accidents." I think your piece is lovely.

'Ripple in the sky' sounds like a song lyric! You have a such way with animals!

This ripple could probably be tweeked out in Photoshop...

Cheers from Arna.

That's why I don't do watercolours....the paper is too expensive. And even that wrinkles up too! Nice Pronghorn though!

Hi Michelle

Such good stuff here! I love the A to Z drawing.

As far as PEI goes, I am here until the end of the year, with a second season very possible.

I love it here so far. I can walk to work in 20 minutes or less. Great old houses, and very nice folks.

The work goes well.

Thanks for visiting my blogs. The illustration you commented on happens to be my fave! Look for a colour version...not sure when but soon.

Take care Michelle.

Willy
