Why is it that sketches look so much more alive than "finished" works? The fox and squirrely are my favorites. Squirrely appears about ready to steal Fox's tasty looking nose.

Hi moonsandstars, I used watercolor for this one. It's actally on awful paper not ment for watercolor. This was just a rough and I was going to do a good copy, but the good copy didn't work as well. Thanks
